Every Fox Deserves a Second Chance
When a fox arrives injured, sick, frightened or alone, their story is not over. With urgent care, patience and kindness, we can give them the chance to heal and return to the wild where they belong.
Donate to the Second Chance FundBe Their Second Chance
Every year, hundreds of injured, sick and orphaned foxes arrive in our care with nowhere else to turn.
Your donation means that when the next emergency call comes in, we're ready to answer it.
- Emergency rescues, day or night
- Veterinary treatment and medication
- Nutritious food and rehabilitation
- Safe accommodation until release
- A second chance back in the wild
Every Rescue Begins With Hope
Every year, foxes come into our care because something has gone terribly wrong. Some are suffering from severe mange. Others have been injured in road traffic collisions, caught in fencing, attacked by dogs, or orphaned before they are old enough to survive alone.
When that emergency call reaches The Fox Rescuers, everything changes. What begins as fear, pain or exhaustion becomes the start of a second chance.
The Road to Recovery
The work does not stop once a fox reaches safety. Every patient receives care tailored to their condition, whether they need urgent veterinary treatment, mange medication, pain relief, wound care, nutritional support or weeks of quiet rehabilitation.
Some foxes stay with us for only a short time. Others need months of dedicated care before they are strong enough to return home.
What Your Donation Helps Provide
As a registered charity, our rescue work is only possible because of people who believe every wild life is worth saving.

Stories of Second Chances
We have seen foxes arrive barely recognisable beneath severe mange, only to grow beautiful new coats and race back into the wild. We have watched injured foxes recover from traumatic accidents and return to their territories. We have helped orphaned cubs grow into confident young foxes ready to begin life where they belong.
Each one reminds us why this work matters. Because every fox deserves the chance to heal. Every fox deserves the chance to be wild again.
Help Give the Next Fox a Second Chance
Right now, somewhere, another fox is struggling. They may be hiding with painful mange, injured by the roadside, or waiting for someone to notice they need help. When that call comes, we want to be ready.
