For over a decade, The Fox Rescuers have been on the frontline of fox rescue across the North West and West Midlands — responding to emergency callouts, rescuing injured foxes, rehabilitating orphaned cubs, and giving countless foxes a second chance at life.
What we do
Specialist fox rescue, treatment and release
Based in Stockport, we specialise exclusively in fox rescue, treatment, rehabilitation and release. From cubs trapped in sports netting to foxes suffering from severe mange, road traffic collisions or entanglements, our team works around the clock to provide urgent care.
What started as a passion for helping one misunderstood species has grown into a dedicated rescue operation supported by rescuers, transport volunteers and fox lovers across thousands of square kilometres.

Our facilities
Purpose-built spaces for rescue, recovery and release
Our fox hospital is designed to safely care for injured, orphaned and recovering foxes — from emergency admissions through to rehabilitation and release.
Fox hospital unit
Our dedicated fox unit houses short-term patients, intensive care cases and foxes needing closer monitoring.
Veterinary care spaces
Bespoke veterinary cages provide a calm, secure environment for foxes undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
Outdoor rehabilitation
Spacious outdoor pens allow recovering foxes more privacy, reduced stress and room to regain strength before release.
